To identify yours: look at the bottom of the door from inside the garage. The retainer is the aluminum or steel channel screwed to the door bottom. A T-style has a narrow slot; a bulb-style has a wider, rounded cavity. The seal itself will show a T-shaped or rounded bulb end that slides in. If your door was installed by a builder in Hayward between 2015 and 2020, there’s a strong chance it’s the T-style, but we verify with a tape measure on every job.
